Herb Ellerbe

Herb Ellerbe passed away on September 28, 2013. He was born in Bushnell, Fl. in 1932. He attended and graduated from Brandon High School and attended and graduated from Herb EllerbeTampa Business College with his degree. He served in the US Army for 4 years. He was a devout Christian and member of Orange Park United Methodist Church where he was an Usher and member of the Laos Sunday School class. He was also a member of the Gideon’s. He was a Sunday School teacher, a Scout Leader and Little League Baseball coach for his son’s. He retired from Anheuser Busch Container Division, and was also a very prominent Realtor at River Oak Realty. He loved playing Golf, especially at Orange Park Country Club and in the mountains of North Carolina. He lived for being in the company of his Family, and always had a shining and welcoming smile on his face. He is preceded in death by his mother Janie and father Herbert, and brother Spud. He is survived by his wife Charlene of 56 years, sons Blaine (JoAnn) and Mark (Yvette) Ellerbe and his 4 grandsons Michael, Justin, Joshua, and Jared, and his brother Donald Ellerbe, and sister Pat Pearson.
